The soft moans that could have been wind caressed his black hide in an almost lovingly threatening manner. An odd way to describe such a place, certainly; it was dark and cool, almost otherworldly. Fog swirled like departed souls around the terra, turning green grass dewy and silver. Grass..water...it was a good place..just not comfortable to some.
Banestar felt home here, in the early morn. Like his own Shadow Clan. What had convinced him to leave that, he couldn't remember? Oh,yes. He had come to 'mingle' with any remaining cats. Unusual of him, indeed. Still, since he had come here, he might as well sit here and wait for someone to come along.

Moonstar prowled through the forest, keeping a sharp look-out for other cats, or even danger, though it was unlikely. Lifting her head to scent the air, the grey she-cat stiffened, and padded towards the cat-scent more cautiously. Her striped coat blended into the shadows as she slipped closer.
"Greetings." Like a ghost, she stood in front of the tom, eyes wide with curiosity. "I am Moonstar, leader of ThnderClan. And you are..."

Banestar purred with curiosity as the she-cat approached. Not just an ordinary loner either, but a leader of a clan. Thunder Clan, but nevertheless, any bad relations now would only bode ill towards the future. " Another leader, such luck." Banestar chuckled lightly, and continued. " I am Banestar of ShadowClan. "

Moonstar narrowed her eyes, tensing instinctively. The name "Shadow Clan" would make any cat do that. Yet, she knew that she could not betray her emotions now. Stalking forwards, the she-cat sat, ears pricked. "So, Banestar, leader of ShadowClan, what brings you here?"

Banestar smirked, but otherwise refrained from commenting on Moonstars reaction to his clan. It didn't surprise, although he couldn't see why ShadowClan had such a dark reputation. " What, a cat can't just go somewhere?!" He said angrily, but his eyes revealed that he was joking. " In all seriousness, I was lonely." He said, tone now light.

Moonstar flicked her tail, responding to his teasing words. "Nope, they can't!" She mewed smiling. "You have no cats in your Clan yet?"

The black tom smiled. It had been a long time since someone had even spoke to him in a cheerful manner (or at all for that matter); he had almost forgotten how good it felt. Then he frowned. "Sadly, no. At the very least, none that I am aware of."

Banstar really was lonely, that Moonstar could tell. She flicked her tail, smiling gently. "Someone will come along, I'm sure," She mewed.

The leaders pale yellow eyes seemed distant all of the sudden, and his body tensed in unease. It passed as quickly as it came, and his voice was cool when he spoke. "I think I already wasted that chance, Moonstar."

"Why?"Moonstar asked, quick as a flash. Her blue eyes were curious, as she gazed at Banestar with an intensity.

"Ne. Perhaps I'll answer that question once we know each other better, but not now." Banestar said, his tone humourful, but deadly serious. He ran his tongue over his pelt, ridding of it a burr. Quiet dangerous forests, huh.

DarkPaw tottered into the Hidden Forest. She didn't know where she was, she had given in, to her curiosity. She mewed for someone, anyone, a friend maybe, to come and find her, and take her away to a paradise.
Her golden eyes staring up, all around her, amazed at the world. She had always been on her own, it seemed, even with the two clans that she had lived with; it didn't feel right.
Her black pelt kept her hidden in the shadows. She was growing fast, it would seem to any, she was almost an adult, by some standards, an apprentice, one would call her. She meowed, looking for a friend.
She spotted the two cats talking to one another and padded over. "Hi. My name is DarkPaw. What's yours?"

Moonstar dipped her head, accepting his answer. It was only natural. Pricking her ears, she heard a soft, mewing sound. A young cat. Soon, the small figure had trotted into their m,midst, "Greetings, Darkpaw. I am Moonstar of ThunderClan."

Banestar smiled in what he hoped was a grateful way; he wasn't just so you know, about her not prying for an answer. It simply wouldn't fit with him to be thankful for much. He gave a careful lick to his paw, before dragging it over his ear. "...What's yours?" Ai, another cat to disturb him. He didn't mind it too much, but he was feeling tired now. "Hai, Darkpaw. I am Banestar belonging to ShadowClan."

"Thunder Clan and Shadow Clan, two great clans!" She purred. "I dont belong to any clan, Im a loner." She said sadly.
